We supply consulting offices, real estate developers and main contractors with complete fire alarm systems, from the first engineering review to the final commissioning certificate.

We cover every phase of the project. Reviewing engineering layouts, supplying equipment, installing on site, testing, commissioning, and preparing the documentation needed for Civil Defence approval.

EDWARDS intelligent control panels protect commercial, industrial and large residential facilities through four things a conventional system cannot do.

• Exact location of the alarm. An addressable panel identifies the individual detector in alarm, so the response team goes straight to the right room rather than searching a zone.
• Networked panels across a site. Control panels can be networked across multiple buildings and complexes and managed as one system.
• Fewer false alarms. The detectors use sensing technology that separates real smoke from steam, dust and everyday background conditions.
• Equipment that meets the code. We supply equipment that meets the local and international specifications applied in the Kingdom, which keeps the approval process straightforward.

1. Supply of genuine equipment and panels. Addressable control panels, smoke and heat detectors, gas detectors, beam detectors, manual pull stations, bells and audio visual strobes.
2. Design and engineering layouts. Our engineers prepare system shop drawings and detector distribution plans that follow the Saudi Building Code for fire protection and the consultant requirements on your project.
3. Installation and programming. A specialist team handles fire rated cabling, device mounting and the programming of main and sub panels so the system responds correctly on day one.
4. Maintenance and testing. Preventive and corrective maintenance programmes that keep the system working and the records in order for inspection.

• Engineering track record. We deliver MEP, fire fighting and HVAC projects across the Kingdom, so the fire alarm system is designed alongside the other services rather than squeezed in afterwards.
• Approvals handled properly. We work directly with consulting offices on design reviews and system approvals, and prepare the drawings and documentation Civil Defence asks for.

A conventional system tells you which zone is in alarm. An addressable system tells you which device. On a large building that difference decides how quickly the right room is reached, and it makes fault finding and maintenance far simpler.

We prepare the shop drawings, equipment submittals and test documentation that the approval process requires, and we support the submission through to inspection. The approval itself is issued by Civil Defence.
